2021: The year of YOU

New year, new you?  Times are still turbulent, and so it’s never been more important to put yourself first. Whether you’re working on a new year, new me mantra, or you just want to kick 2021 off to a healthy start, this weeks luxe list looks at everything you need for a successful new years detox.


Detox your… body 

A detox diet can be a perfect way to give you a post-festive period boost.  Here are some of our favourite diet detox tips:


  • Start the day with warm water with honey and lemon/ wheatgrass juice/ ginger tea/green tea/chamomile tea/ carrot juice/dates

  • Keep hydrated

  • Eat oats/ light porridges/ steamed foods/ egg whites and fruits for breakfast

  • Include lots of steamed herbed vegetables like spinach vegetables, broccoli in your diet

  • Increase your fibre intake

  • Avoid fast food, fried food, caffeine, alcohol, red meat, and sugary drinks.


Detox your.. Skin

A facial detox means dedicating one week (or whatever your schedule allows) to removing all impurities, toxins, pollutants, and dead skin cells possible to renew and revitalize your skin back to how it normally looks.


Detox… your mind

It’s easy to become affected by the negativity and doubt that’s dominating the news and social media at present. A focus to help you remain positive at this time is so important.  A good place to start is by doing a mental detox of anything that isn’t serving you. If it isn’t making you happy - get rid of it.  You might not be able to control what’s happening in the world but you can control how you respond. Use this precious time to do a bit of self-exploration to help clear your mind and reconnect you to that part of yourself that is the calm amid the storm.
