Our journey began with a simple problem: how to protect delicate handbag hardware from scratches. When our founder, Katelyn, couldn’t find a solution, she took matters into her own hands and created the very first handbag hardware protectors. What started as a personal project quickly evolved into a thriving business as word spread, and demand for her innovative protectors soared.

From My Worst Nightmare to Your Fearless Confidence

I'll never forget the moment that changed everything. At 23, I'd finally saved enough for my first designer handbag, a beautiful Mulberry that I displayed like precious art.

The pride I felt carrying it was indescribable. Then came the devastation: after just one use, I discovered a scratch on the hardware.

I was heartbroken.

If this happened on the first carry, what would my investment look like in 6-12 months?

Most people told me that's just how luxury is, beautiful things are meant to show wear.

But I couldn't accept that. We protect our phone screens, so why not our handbags?

I spent hours searching online for solutions, convinced there had to be something. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

That's when I decided to create what didn't exist.

With no business intentions whatsoever, I invested my savings and worked with a UK supplier who thought my request was completely bizarre.

But after months of prototypes and countless revisions, I finally held what I'd dreamed of, an invisible way to protect my hardware that let me carry my bag without fear.

I was so happy I could have cried!!

My family suggested I try selling them on eBay.

Honestly, I thought they were crazy. Who would even find them?

Despite having zero e-commerce experience, I created the most basic listing imaginable, and yet, the impossible happened: I sold 15 sets overnight.

Walking with my mum the next morning, my phone wouldn't stop pinging with sales notifications. We both just laughed in disbelief.

Reality hit fast.

I had no envelopes, no stamps, no label printer, nothing!

We rushed to our small town, buying the nicest supplies I could find. I hand-wrote every thank-you note and address, terrified about what customers would think.

Then the 5-star reviews started pouring in, along with the loveliest messages. I couldn't believe it.

Customers were sharing my listing in handbag Facebook groups I'd never heard of.

Suddenly, I'd discovered this incredible "handbag world" with tens of thousands of passionate collectors. The messages and requests were overwhelming.

Within a week, I'd paid £15 for a logo, built my first Shopify website using YouTube tutorials, and officially launched.

We rapidly expanded to protect over 200 designer styles.

My brother and boyfriend (now husband) helped with intricate measurements while Mum assisted with packaging.

It was beautifully chaotic.

But I knew collectors needed more than hardware protection.

I'd experienced colour transfer and stains myself, with no idea how to properly care for luxury leather.

So I enrolled in leather training courses, consulted with experts and undertook relentless product development.

The result? Our revolutionary 3-Step Care System.

Today, we've sold over 1 million hardware protectors, 250,000 cleansing wipes, 70,000 bottles of Stain Guard, and have a loyal customer base of more than 70,000 handbag lovers.

We've been featured in Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan.

But the numbers aren't what matter most; it's the 50,000+ collectors who now carry their investments with confidence instead of fear.

My determination stems from my own struggle and not having anyone to ask about luxury care.

I never want our customers to feel the devastation I felt.
